for Eating Disorders

«

8:30 Doors open
Location: Church of the Reformation (Lutheran)
212 East Capitol Street NE, Washington, D.C.
2 blocks from Union Station
4 blocks from Holiday Inn

Registration for Appointments is CLOSED. You may still register for Lobby Day and attend, but we cannot guaranty specific appointments with your elected officials.

Become a constituent lobbyist!

Join dozens of like-minded people for a day of lobbying Congress. The day begins with Advocacy Training so that everyone knows the issues and knows the talking points.

Next, we will work in small teams, meeting with elected officials and their staff during morning and afternoon appointments. No one will lobby alone! Lobby teams will arrive on time for each appointment, deliver a packet of eating disorders materials, and talk about the importance of appropriate public policy. Most importantly, each team member can briefly share how an eating disorder has changed her or his life.

Each Lobby Day participant will receive an EDC lapel pin, lobby day packet.

You MUST register in advance for this event, otherwise we will not be able to make appointments for you! Details will be sent to those who have registered for Lobby Day. You will receive the location and other necessary information.

Register now for Lobby Day.
