Rep. Bono Introduces "IMPACT Act"

Bill to Prevent Eating Disorders and Obesity
Introduced in House of Representatives!

The IMPACT Act, as introduced by Congresswoman Bono, addresses the growing public health problem of increasing rates of obesity, being overweight, and eating disorders, as well as the related serious chronic conditions.  The bill provides funding in the form of training grants and funding for programs at a community level, while emphasizing programs and policies that have proven to be effective in the past.
