Senate Bill Would Overturn State
Mental Health Parity Laws

If enacted into law, the proposed "Health Insurance Marketplace Modernization and Affordability Act" (HIMMA) would repeal state laws that have been enacted to ensure that consumers have access to adequate mental health benefits. How will your senator vote?

Researchers Respond!
Effective Treatment
for Eating Disorders

April 26, 2006 - The EDC hosted a Congressional Briefing at the U.S. Capitol, focusing attention on a new report on eating disorders by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. The report addresses evidence-based research on the efficacy of various types of eating disorder treatment.
