Congressional Briefings
|
|
The Eating Disorders Coalition educates members of
Congress through various means. Congressional Briefings are presentations
that we conduct throughout the year at the U.S. Capitol. Working with sponsors
in the U.S. House of Representatives or the U.S. Senate, we determine a theme
and work with speakers to create a concise, informative program for members of
Congress and their legislative aides. At briefings, our elected officials and
their aides can ask questions, offer their perspectives, and get to know members
of the eating disorders community.
